Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services in a part time role.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services for students.
- Support school staff with classroom management strategies and behavioral interventions.
- Participate in student support team meetings and provide professional recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Licensure/Certification: Must hold a Louisiana School Psychology Certification issued by the Louisiana Department of Education.
- At least one year of professional experience in a school-based setting is required.
