Blazerworks has partnered with a school district in Albuquerque, NM, to offer a fully remote School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position for the 2024-2025 school year. Position Details:
- Location: Fully Remote (Serving Albuquerque, NM School District)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- School Year: 2024-2025
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (standard school hours)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, interventions, and therapy for students from preschool through high school
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailor interventions to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure integrated and consistent services
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Provide consultations and support to school staff on speech and language strategies
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms and tools
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and progress reporting

Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP License in the state of New Mexico
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and tools (training available if needed)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and provide differentiated instruction
