Job Description: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Type: Full-Time, Itinerant Role
Location: Maryland (on-site only)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support elementary students across multiple schools in Maryland. This is a full-time itinerant position providing comprehensive speech and language services to a manageable caseload of approximately 40-50 students.
Work Schedule:
- Elementary school hours: Approximately 8:30 AM 3:50 PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, including testing and diagnostics.
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services inside and outside of general education settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student communication needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation for case management and compliance.
Requirements:
- Active Maryland licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Strong ability to work on-site (this position cannot accommodate remote work or SLP-As).
- Passion for supporting the communication development of elementary students.
