Blazerworks is excited to announce a partnership with the Federal Heights school district to fill a part-time School Psychologist position for the 2024-2025 academic year. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to support student success.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies.
- Deliver crisis intervention services as needed.
- Promote a positive school climate by supporting mental health initiatives and social-emotional learning (SEL) programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest practices and research in school psychology.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Current and valid Colorado School Psychologist license.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students, families, and staff.
