**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create a safe and nurturing environment where students feel comfortable expressing their emotions and addressing their needs.
- Stay well-versed in district policies, school protocols, and state/federal laws, ensuring the confidentiality of critical information shared with families.
- Act as a liaison between students, educators, staff, administrators, and caregivers, fostering open communication to support students' mental and emotional well-being.
- Keep detailed, HIPAA-compliant records of sensitive student health information.
- Utilize evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention, in alignment with state licensing regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Current State Board of Education license.
- Active membership with the National Association of School Psychologists.
