Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position with school districts in the Kansas City, KS area. We are actively interviewing candidates who are passionate about supporting students and meeting their unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students functional abilities in educational settings.
- Conduct evaluations to determine students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create strategies for student success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide professional recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Valid state Occupational Therapist license.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
