Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in the Plainfield, NJ area to hire a Full-Time Social Worker for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is within a special education setting, providing essential support to students with a range of academic, social, and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to students in a special education setting, focusing on their social, emotional, and behavioral well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for managing behavior and promoting positive student outcomes.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support student development.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
Qualifications:
- Must hold the required state licensure and certifications (please specify necessary credentials when applying).
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience in a special education setting is highly desirable.
