Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
An Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed at multiple locations within Port Orchard, WA. The OT will work with students who may present a variety of challenges and will collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support the students needs. The OT will be responsible for managing students with challenging behaviors, motivating students, and collaborating with other staff members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage students with challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals in the school system to create and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct services to students based on their needs, including fine motor skills development, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior.
- Track and report progress on student goals.
- Motivate students to engage in therapy and academic activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy License.
- Valid Washington State ESA Certificate for Occupational Therapist required.
- Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred.
Compensation:
- Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K
- Pay $35 - $45/Hr. +
