Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive educational environments.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Support students with crisis intervention and provide necessary resources.
- Promote school-wide programs to enhance students' well-being and inclusivity.
- Act as a liaison between the school, families, and community agencies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting student success.
