Blazer Jobs has partnered with a school district in the Attleboro, MA area to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This position will be in a special education setting, providing an opportunity to work with students and support their communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with speech and communication challenges.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Conduct assessments and provide reports regarding student progress.
- Work in a collaborative, supportive environment to promote student growth.
Requirements:
- State licensure and certifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Massachusetts (please specify the required certifications).
- At least one year of experience in a school or special education setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a school setting.
- Passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
