Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing patient treatment plans, including exercises and use of therapy equipment.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting to the supervising physical therapist.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and therapy goals.
- Administer modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation under supervision.
- Maintain and sanitize therapy equipment.
- Collaborate with the rehab team to adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation equipment.
