Position Overview:
We are hiring a School Psychologist for a full-time role in Alexandria, Virginia, for the Spring 2025 Semester. This is a great opportunity for a licensed professional to provide valuable psychological services to high school students and collaborate with a dedicated team of educators.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology
- Active Virginia Psychology License
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings
- Strong skills in student evaluations, IEP development, and collaborative support strategies
Job Details:
- Location: Onsite in Alexandria, VA
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday Friday)
- Contract Duration: January 6th, 2025 June 13th, 2025
- Caseload: High School students
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and reevaluations for students
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and educational staff
- Participate in screenings, evaluations, and diagnosing students
- Provide psychological support and develop student support strategies with educators and parents
