Blazer Jobs is hiring a motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work in a school-based setting in Aurora, CO. The SLPA will provide support to the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in treating students with communication disorders, helping them achieve academic success. Pay starting at $35 an hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering speech therapy services.
- Implement treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
- Document student progress and communicate results to the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related field.
- Valid Colorado SLPA license required.
- CDE required.
- At least one year of experience working as an SLPA, preferably in a school setting.
