Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Centreville, AL area. We are seeking skilled professionals dedicated to supporting students' mental health, academic success, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify and address students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students and families.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to promote a supportive learning environment.
- Facilitate training for staff on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and special education.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Alabama.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- A passion for fostering the success and well-being of students.
