Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Avondale, AZ area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to address articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, progress, and outcomes.
- Offer training and resources to staff and parents to promote effective communication strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in speech-language therapy.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active Arizona state licensure as an SLP (required).
- Arizona Department of Education certification (if applicable).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred).
- Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
