Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success.
- Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for therapy goals and accommodations.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology license.
- Completion of a clinical fellowship year (CFY) if required for licensure.
- Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services or Intervention Specialist licensure.
- School-based experience is strongly preferred.
