Job Description: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and support elementary-aged students in a single-building assignment. This role is based in Texas and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in students' communication skills.
Key Details:
- Dates of Assignment: Through May 22, 2024
- Scheduled Hours: Full-time (8 hours/day), with flexible part-time options available
- Days per Week: Preferably 5 days/week (flexible for part-time)
- Location: Single building
- Caseload: Elementary age students
- Supervision: An SLP will be provided by the district for supervision
Interview Timeline:
Interviews will commence in January 2025.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure in the state of Texas
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
