DHH Counselor Part-Time Santa Clarita, CA (Virtual or Onsite)
Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and compassionate DHH Counselor to provide specialized counseling services to two students in Santa Clarita, CA. This part-time position offers flexibility (virtual or onsite) and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with hearing impairments.
Position Details:
- Location: Santa Clarita, CA 91350
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 30, 2025
- Position Type: Part-Time (Hours TBD)
- Pay Rate: $35-$55/hour
- Caseload:
- Student #1: 30-minute sessions x 19 sessions
- Student #2: 30-minute sessions x 38 sessions
Responsibilities:
- Deliver counseling services to students to support their emotional and educational needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other personnel to address the students' unique needs.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess one of the following credentials:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Licensed Educational Psychologist
- PPS Credential in School Psychology
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Familiarity with the Deaf community and its cultural nuances
- Experience providing DIS counseling services to DHH students
