Responsibilities:
- Speech-Language Therapy: Provide individual and group speech therapy to students with diverse needs, including articulation, fluency, language, and voice disorders.
- IEP Development and Implementation: Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure the development of measurable and achievable goals.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with teaching staff, school administrators, and families to ensure an integrated approach to speech and language development. You will share valuable strategies to incorporate speech therapy goals within the classroom setting.
- Progress Reporting: Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress and IEP documentation. Regularly assess students needs and adjust therapy techniques as needed, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Advocacy for Students: Advocate for students communication needs and work to ensure they have the resources and support necessary to succeed both academically and socially within the school community.
