Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
- Track and document student progress, modifying goals as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings to communicate progress and provide recommendations.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
- Current North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists license.
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction certification for school-based services.
- Completion of a clinical fellowship year if applicable for licensure.
- Prior school-based experience is strongly preferred.
