Key Qualifications:
- Certification: Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Education: A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required.
- License: Must possess an active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in New Hampshire or be eligible to obtain licensure.
Position Details:
- Work Setting: This is a full-time, onsite position based in the charming community of North Haverhill, NH, within a collaborative and student-focused school district. You will be working directly with students, staff, and families to provide speech and language therapy services.
- Employment Type: Full-time, W-2 employment, offering stability and growth opportunities.
- Caseload: You will manage a diverse caseload of students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, addressing a wide range of speech and language needs across various age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Speech Therapy Services: Provide individual and group speech therapy to students with diverse communication needs, focusing on articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
- IEP Development and Implementation: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. You will work collaboratively with educators and families to ensure that therapy goals are integrated into the classroom setting.
- Collaboration: Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to address students' speech and language needs and provide guidance on integrating therapy goals into daily activities.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, document and report on development, and update IEPs as needed to reflect evolving needs. You will track and analyze progress to ensure the continued success of each student.
- Student Advocacy: Advocate for students with speech and language challenges, ensuring they have access to the resources and support they need to succeed both academically and socially.
