Responsibilities:
- The special education teacher is responsible for delivering instruction and collect data on progress on the students' goals and objectives
- Support general education staff in the development and implementation of strategies to increase student participation, engagement, and skill development
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
- Active license/certification in Alaska to teach Special Education
- Previous school experience required
- 2-3 reference checks prior to start
Schedule: - Start/End Dates: ASAP - May 23, 2025
- Hours: Full Time, 37.5hours/week; Monday-Friday
- Caseload Details:Expanded Core Curriculum caseload
- ??????????????Case management (paperwork, meeting set up, communication to collect data, etc.) as well as doing some direct instruction for students
