BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Ontario, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact on students' communication and language development while working in a collaborative school environment. The assignment will run from January 20, 2025, through May 22, 2025, with 35 hours per week.
Caseload/Details:
- Start Time: 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM (depending on site start time)
- Caseload: Mixed age group (Elementary and possibly Middle School students)
- Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing communication with families
- Conduct screenings and evaluations as necessary

Experience:
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
- Comfortable working with a mixed-age student population

Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current California State SLP License
- ASHA Certification preferred
- Experience with IEP development and speech therapy in schools is a plus
