Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings
- Maintain detailed records of services provided and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in setting educational goals
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Rhode Island
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and students
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs
