Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist in Tracy, you will provide essential psychological services to students, including conducting assessments, counseling, developing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other school professionals. You will be instrumental in creating an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters students academic, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Psychological Assessments: Administer psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Individualized Intervention Plans: Develop and implement evidence-based strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Collaboration with Educators and Families: Work closely with teachers, school administrators, and families to support student well-being and academic achievement.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support in crisis situations, helping students and staff manage difficult situations with a calm, professional demeanor.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to ensure the latest practices in school psychology are utilized.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active California State licensure as a School Psychologist (PPS Credential required).
- Experience: Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred, particularly with students facing emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.

- Location: Onsite at schools in Tracy, CA, within a supportive and progressive school district.
- Employment Type: Full-time, W-2 employment.
- Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, ensuring a consistent and manageable work-life balance.
