BlazerJobs is seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time, school-based position in Elizabeth, CO. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide social work services to students and support their academic, emotional, and social well-being through the end of the 2024/2025 school year. The position offers 20-40 hours per week depending on availability.

Responsibilities:

Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention strategies and support plans for students.
Conduct assessments of student needs and develop appropriate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
Work with students and families to connect them to community resources and social services.
Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Lead group therapy sessions, support crisis management, and assist with student conflict resolution.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Social Worker in a school setting is required
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
Valid Colorado Social Worker License (LCSW or equivalent)
Experience in providing counseling and behavioral support in schools or similar settings
Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with families, staff, and community resources
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
