BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated School Occupational Therapist (OT) for an Extended School Year (ESY) position in Concord, NH. The selected candidate will provide on-site services for elementary students during the summer school session. This part-time position offers flexibility and the chance to make a direct impact on students functional skills and overall development.
Position Details:

- Start Date: July 2024
- End Date: August 2024 (ESY dates)
- Hours: 4 hours daily, 4 days a week
- Student Population: Elementary
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and services to elementary school students with IEPs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and goals.
- Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to ensure therapy aligns with academic goals.
- Maintain documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Communicate with parents and other team members regarding student progress and any changes in treatment plans.
- Support students social and emotional development through appropriate OT interventions.
- Adapt classroom environments and tasks to support inclusion and maximize student participation.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of New Hampshire
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school-based setting is preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation for students with special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and dedicated to improving students' functional independence and well-being
