Remote School Psychologist Position Columbia, SC
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Remote School Psychologist to join our team in partnership with a school district in Columbia, SC, for the current school year. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with competitive pay, advisory support, and professional development opportunities provided under a 1099 contract.
Position Details:
- Case Load: Mixed
- Hours/Week: 40
- Contract Type: 1099
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support students educational and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide appropriate interventions.
- Support the school district by addressing behavioral and emotional challenges through consultation and guidance.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school district and state guidelines.
- Engage in virtual meetings and consultations with staff and families as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in South Carolina.
- Experience working with a diverse caseload in a virtual or school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
