Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Ferndale, MI area. We are seeking skilled professionals passionate about supporting students communication and academic success in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language challenges in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' progress.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings to ensure students receive appropriate services.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or certification in Michigan.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their success.
