Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based contract role in Tower City, Pennsylvania.

Position Details:
- Role: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week)
- Dates: ASAP May 29, 2025
- Location: OnsiteTower City, PA
- Caseload: Work with the district Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide support for elementary school students.
Key Requirements:
- Must hold a valid PA COTA credential (applications with pending credentials will not be considered).
- Familiarity with working in school settings is highly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting special education students and their families is strongly desired.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the district OT, teachers, and school staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the district Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged students based on their specific needs.
- Use engaging techniques to support the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Participate in meetings and discussions regarding student goals and outcomes.
- Support teachers and families by sharing strategies to promote student success in the classroom and at home.
