Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide exceptional services to students in a PreK-8th grade school setting. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a skilled part-time SLP and make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students.
- Conduct evaluations and write detailed evaluation reports.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Participate in IEP meetings as part of a collaborative team.
- Support students in early elementary grades (PreK-4) and self-contained classrooms, including those with ASD.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other team members to ensure student success.
Caseload Details:
- Mixed PreK-8th grade caseload.
- Primary focus on early elementary grades (PreK-4).
- Collaborate with a part-time SLP to address student needs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut (CT) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs, including ASD, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
