Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, teachers, and staff.
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with state and district guidelines.
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings to report on student outcomes.
- Work with teachers to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Florida state license for Speech-Language Pathology issued by the Florida Department of Health.
- Florida Department of Education certification for school-based practice.
- School-based experience is preferred.
