Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Bridgeport, TX area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment, helping students achieve their speech and language development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to diagnose speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students, focusing on improving communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to design and execute therapy plans
- Monitor student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student progress, treatment plans, and IEP documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for student services
- Provide consultation to staff and families regarding speech and language development strategies
Qualifications:
- Active Texas State Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educational teams
