Full-Time School Social Worker Opportunity in Blaine, MN (2024-2025 School Year)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time position in Blaine, Minnesota for the 2024-2025 school year. This role will support either elementary or secondary students, focusing on their social and emotional development, as well as collaborating on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work
- Active Minnesota Social Work License
- Experience working in school settings or with student assessments preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementing student goals
Job Details:
- Location: Onsite in Blaine, MN
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday Friday)
- Contract Duration: ASAP to June 6th, 2025
- Caseload: Elementary or Secondary students (depending on assignment)
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in IEP meetings to assess students needs and contribute to goal setting
- Provide social work services to students, supporting goals set in IEPs
- Conduct assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop support strategies for students
