BlazerJobs is looking for a Virtual Mental Health Counselor fluent in Ukrainian to provide support to an elementary school student for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year. Position Details:
- Location: 100% Remote
- Position Type: Part-Time, Contract (30 minutes per week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of the 2024/2025 school year
- Session Availability: Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays
- Caseload: 1 General Education Elementary Student
- Hours: 30 minutes per week (flexible scheduling within specified days)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual counseling sessions for a general education elementary student.
- Provide support for managing emotional, academic, and social challenges.
- Develop and implement coping strategies, emotional regulation techniques, and tools for overall well-being.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to ensure seamless communication and holistic support.
- Maintain accurate session records and document student progress regularly.
- Use an integrated virtual platform to conduct sessions, with technical support available.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Counseling or a related field.
- PPS Credential (Pupil Personnel Services Credential) required.
- Fluency in Ukrainian is essential for effective communication with the student.
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in a virtual environment, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
