Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Santa Clara, CA area. This opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on students' academic and emotional well-being.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential with a School Psychologist authorization.
- Meet all state and local requirements, including background checks and fingerprinting.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, data interpretation, and educational regulations, including IDEA and 504 plans.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret findings to identify students needs.
- Develop and implement individualized interventions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create student support plans.
- Provide counseling services to students dealing with emotional, social, or behavioral issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans.
- Provide crisis intervention services and support for students in need.
- Use data-driven practices to track student progress and inform instructional strategies.
