Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Pasadena, TX area. We are seeking professionals committed to helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students requiring speech and language services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide expertise in speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with students to achieve their goals.
