Position Details:
- Location: Ellicott City, MD (specific school sites and areas listed below)
- Role: Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Work Environment: Onsite only
- Start Date: ASAP
- Caseload: Regional programs supporting children with significant autism, very low cognition, and/or behavior challenges.
School Sites:
- Elementary School: Located in Glenwood
- Elementary School: Central part of the county (Columbia)
- Elementary, Middle, and/or High Schools: Located in the Laurel area
- Longfellow Elementary: Located in Columbia
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in regional programs with significant needs.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to create and implement individualized plans.
- Support students with autism, low cognition, and behavior challenges to develop essential skills.
Requirements:
- Must have strong experience working with students with autism.
- Pediatric experience is required.
- Proficiency in working with school-aged children with diverse needs.
- Valid OT licensure for the state of Maryland.
