Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity Crown Point, IN
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time position within school districts in the Crown Point, IN area. We are seeking dedicated professionals committed to supporting students communication and academic success.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to apply:
- A valid Indiana Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Eligibility for or possession of an Indiana Department of Education certification for school-based SLPs.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide input and develop effective strategies for student success.
