School-Based Occupational Therapist

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team. This position is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by helping them achieve their educational and developmental goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' functional and developmental abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students' educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Offer consultation and training to staff to support students' needs.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- NBCOT certification.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to pass state-required background checks.
