Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Chester, PA
Blazer Jobs is proud to partner with a school district in Chester, PA, to fill a rewarding full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OT to join our team and provide essential support to students, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans to address their unique needs
- Work with students on motor skills, sensory integration, self-care tasks, and other areas to enhance their ability to participate in the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development and ensure a cohesive approach to their therapy
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to meet IEP goals
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding modifications and accommodations for students
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a school setting
- Must meet all federal and state licensing and certification requirements for Occupational Therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential
