- Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Possess an active New Jersey Department of Education School Psychologist certification.
- Have prior experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting.
- Fulfill all local and state requirements for school-based employment in New Jersey.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
As a School Psychologist, your role will include:
- Performing assessments to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Providing counseling and intervention services to support students well-being.
- Assisting with crisis management and offering consultation services.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
