Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Applicants must:
- Meet all local and state licensure, certification, and educational requirements.
- Have at least one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
- Submit complete application materials, including proof of licensure and certifications.
Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered for this role.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders.
- South Carolina licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Experience working in school-based settings or with children.
- Completion of South Carolina background checks and fingerprinting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement strategies.
- Document progress and update IEPs as needed.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings.
