We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide remote therapy services to students as part of a temporary leave coverage. This full-time position involves working with a caseload of 40 students across a variety of ages and needs. The role is remote, offering flexibility while maintaining high standards of service delivery. There is potential for contract extension based on performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual, direct speech-language therapy services to students on your caseload.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the integration of therapy into the students academic plans.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding speech and language goals and services.
- Ensure consistency and continuity in service delivery despite the virtual environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- State licensure (or ability to obtain licensure) in the state of the school district.
- Experience providing speech therapy in virtual settings is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and other virtual tools for service delivery.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with school teams and parents.
