Connecticut SLP Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Connecticut Department of Public Health SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
Job Description:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to assess communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions.
