BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated Virtual Occupational Therapist to provide remote therapy services to K-2 students at Elm Hill School in Springfield, VT. This full-time (35 hours per week) position involves delivering direct therapy through a teletherapy platform, writing appropriate IEP goals, and participating in virtual IEP meetings. What Youll Do:
- Provide virtual direct therapy sessions to K-2 students, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional activities.
- Work with students to create and implement individualized therapy plans based on their IEP goals.
- Develop and write IEP goals that reflect each students needs and progress.
- Actively participate in virtual IEP meetings to assess progress, collaborate with educators and parents, and refine therapy goals.
- Provide ongoing support and strategies to help students succeed in the virtual learning environment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy services, progress, and assessments.
What Youll Bring:
- Active Occupational Therapy License in the state of Vermont.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children, especially in a virtual or remote setting.
- Strong skills in writing IEP goals and participating in IEP meetings remotely.
- Ability to create engaging teletherapy sessions that are effective in a virtual setting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, parents, and school staff.
