Our teletherapy platform connects Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with schools in need of virtual support. We are currently seeking a licensed SLP to oversee a caseload of 55 students in Crestine, CA, primarily for K-5th grade students with a small number of 9-12th grade students. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility of working from home.
What Youll Do:
- Provide virtual speech and language assessments to evaluate students communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student progress and goals.
- Manage a caseload of 55 students, including approximately 40 K-5th graders and ~15 9-12th graders.
- Oversee new assessment referrals for the elementary school site.
- Conduct interactive and engaging teletherapy sessions that promote skill development.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school teams to create a comprehensive support system for students.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert insights and recommendations for speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP License.
- SEID Number from either the PPS (Pupil Personnel Services credential) or Certificate of Clearance.
- At least two years of experience in a school setting (teletherapy experience is a plus).
- Proficiency with technology and virtual therapy platforms.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills for remote learning.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional home workspace.
