BlazerJobs is seeking a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Coldwater, Michigan for the spring semester. This is a remote, full-time position with a caseload of 50 students (preschool and elementary-aged) across two buildings. You will work closely with students, families, and school teams to provide virtual speech therapy services and support their growth through engaging, effective therapy.
What Youll Do:
- Provide virtual speech therapy sessions to a caseload of approximately 50 students, including preschool and elementary-aged students.
- Split your time between one ECSE classroom (AM/PM sessions) 2 days per week and an elementary school for the remainder of the week.
- Conduct individualized therapy plans and assessments based on students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement IEPs.
- Ensure detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and assessments.
- Participate in virtual meetings to discuss student progress and contribute to IEP development and review.
- Utilize a teletherapy platform to engage with students and provide effective therapy from the comfort of your own home.
What Youll Bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist License in the state of Michigan.
- Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged children.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology to effectively deliver virtual speech therapy services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, parents, and students.
- Flexible and adaptable to a split caseload and varied settings (ECSE classroom and elementary school).
