Qualification Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) School Psychologist License.
- Experience in student assessments, mental health interventions, and behavioral planning.
As a School Psychologist in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve as a key advocate for students mental health and educational success. Your role will involve collaborating with school staff, families, and community resources to ensure every student receives the support they need to excel.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations to determine learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop intervention plans and behavioral support strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create comprehensive support systems.
- Assist in crisis response and school-wide mental health initiatives.
