Blazer Jobs is hiring an Itinerant Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve students with moderate-severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and medically fragile conditions in a K-12 setting across multiple schools in San Bernardino, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering therapy to students.
- Assist with communication interventions for students with ASD and complex medical needs.
- Implement AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) strategies when necessary.
- Travel between schools to provide support where needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- California SLPA License
- Minimum of one year of school-based or pediatric experience
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience with AAC devices (preferred)
